Check
out my schedule for May... it's going to be busy! I have four
shows, one every weekend. I'm have lots of new creations, no
time to put them on here unfortunately. Hopefully I'll sell out
this month and will have to come up with all kinds of cool new
stuff to share.
I
was searching around Facebook to set up my fan page a few weeks
ago and came across a developer in Mystic, CT who STOLE my logo.
He deleted the word "studio" but other than that it was
identical, same font, same design, just a copy and paste.
Cheesy. I sent a note to him and he immediately took down the
Facebook fan page (which is good), but who knows what he'll do
way up in CT? I created the logo (used to be a graphic
designer).
NEW! I added PayPal so now you can purchase on-line. We'll see
how this works... I'm still not clear on shipping prices. I
tried to charge enough to cover postage, shipping material and
the trip to the Post Office. If I find that I charged too much,
I'll send you the difference inside your piece of pottery.
Chances are I didn't charge enough, but I won't ask you for more
unless it's going to really hurt my pocketbook.
I'm now a member of the Art Chamber! We had a fantastic opening
show at Beyond the Door in Senoia. I'll be sharing a slide show
of the event with you soon.
I'm working on updating the site... I'm adding PayPal so you can
purchase on-line. As I wandered through putting "sold" on
pieces, I realized that most of the pottery on here has already
found a home. I'll be changing that soon as I have a lot of new
work I think you'll love. Wait until you see my "quilt" pieces
and all the lidded jars and containers.
7/09 Had a great time at the Woodstock Market show! It's a
regular monthly event through November. I'm working on trying to
rearrange my schedule so I can do the Labor Day weekend show. If
I can't make that one, I'll definitely be there the first
weekend in October.
4/25/09 NEW!
The
Art of Green in Senoia slide show. It includes some of my
new work... I have a lot of new work to share with you, should
have the photos ready to go in the next few days.
4/22/09 Thanks to the ladies at the Senoia
United Methodist Church. I was the guest speaker at their annual
luncheon. The food was wonderful and the tables were gorgeous.
Lovely bunch of women! Thanks to those who bought my pottery,
too.
Thanks to the Atlanta Journal
Constitution for the very nice article (we'd show it to you, but
they want a small fortune to allow me to put it on here...
starts at $300 a month!)
Be sure to check out the story about me in the
Fayette Neighbor! A very gracious thank you to the Neighbor
for allowing me to post the article.
4/18/09 I had a great time sharing my
thoughts on pottery with the Friends of the Library, Fayette
County. I'm a read-aholic and love the book sales they hold each
quarter, AND I very much appreciate all they do for the Fayette
County Library.
