Peter Max Inspired

I credit Peter Max with inspiring me at a young age to do more than just dabble in art. I loved his work and still do. A couple of years ago he was here in Atlanta and I had the opportunity to meet him. I wanted to buy some of his work, but the pieces I wanted were way out of my price league. One day... especially if enough of you buy MY work!!! Here are a few pieces I did with his work in the back of my mind. I plan to do more.

(I did get him to sign a book I had of his from the 70's that I picked up somewhere along the road. After looking it up I discovered it was part of a 3-book series, not worth a whole lot dollar-wise, but one of my favorite things!)

Max Overload $225 Approx. 10 1/2 in. tall Double handled pitcher. All the Peter Max colors in one piece of pottery! Aqua, black, red, yellow, dark blue, etc. I had a lot of fun making the pitcher while thinking back to those days when I mimicked his early style for posters, etc.
