I Can Only
Imagine - SOLD My sister and brother-in-law sang I Can Only
Imagine at my grandmother's funeral. This piece was named for that
song simply because it now belongs to them and it needed I wanted to
always remember the beauty, the heartfelt meaning they gave to the
song and, of course, my grandmother. Soft shades of greens and brown
top a crazed gold glaze. Deliberate drops of glaze cascade below the
"turban" of textured top wrapping.

My Romance - SOLD
Carly Simon, a fantastic writer and singer. She's timeless and so is
this intricate and delicate piece. It has a Victorian flare, or so I'd
like to think.

Dried Floral Tube
- SOLD
I love to have splashes of color on the walls and these flower tubes
are just perfect! I make a wide assortment of styles, colors and
looks, no two are ever alike, most are not even vaguely similar. I
suppose if you needed a matching pair I would do it <g>. I don't have
to work at never making two pieces alike, it's just not in my nature!
I love to experiment and I love to play. Clay is the perfect medium
for someone with an eclectic nature.

Woodstock
Eva Cassidy again, just love her bluesy raspy take and wish she were
still with us putting out music. This is one of my baskets with some
additions. Wood-tone basket with straw and autumn berries.

Hummingbirds
I took this photo on the back porch of my parent's home on Lake
Oconee. Each year they attract hummingbirds galore, making me very
jealous. I love my hummingbirds, but I only have maybe 6 or 7 tops
each year. Mine, like theirs, lets me know when it's time to put out
the feeders! The first one to arrive hangs out in front of the window
buzzing until we get the message that he has ARRIVED and is wondering
where his food is! Once you get caught up in the antics of the
hummingbirds, you'll not be able to stop anticipating their arrival
each year and will dread their return to warmer climates during the
winter. |
