I've made a number of bamboo pots recently. They make great gifts. Three pieces of the lucky bamboo signifies friendship. I understand that the gold tie signifies something special, too.

Brenda Ludecke with her new pottery.

Claire McCullough with her new plant rooter.

J.D. Holmes with the gift he bought for wife, Varner.

Dr. Jim Deckman (the best dentist in all of Fayette County) bought this pot at the reception at the Fayette Art Center & Gallery. I gave him the good luck bamboo pot he's holding as he was moving his practice from Tyrone to Peachtree City. The bamboo pot is pictured at the top of this page.

The pieces above was donated to Christian City for their silent auction. It was nice to meet the new owner at the auction and to know that my work will be in the home of such an appreciative, and nice, person! Thanks & thank you for your donation to such a worthy cause. Again, my photos don't show the nuances in color or the details. This has two types of "rope" tangled in the front and draping around the top. There are color variations also... the small smooth "rope" twining through the larger rope is a lighter muddy color with river bottom flecks.
